I regard AI as a function.
AI is a function. We put input and it makes an output. If the model is complex enough, it can handle complex inputs and outputs.
Why can AI only process limited type of inputs?
That's same for 'Brain'. Then if we know how different brains work together and process different inputs, we can make that into an AI model.
But this is not a useful idea because nowadays AI models like ChatGPT can take many types of inputs such as text, files, audio, video, image.
However, modern AI still can't make various outputs.
Inputs are great, models are complex, but outputs are usually limited on texts. People in Automation fields are trying to make some more outputs such as post upload, email tasks etc, but they are still limited.
I mean they can make PPT, Excel files and do some photoshop tasks. They might have enough outputs....
